We are super excited about these unique sessions designed especially for the seniors! |
"But the wisdom that comes from above leads us to be pure, friendly, gentle, sensible, kind, helpful, genuine and sincere."
James 3:17 (Contemporary English Version)
This year, at our 2015 Teen SHE event, we'll look at what it means to become wise and why it's important. We will dive in to the Source and Foundation for wisdom, giving practical ways in which to seek out wisdom. We will discuss what it means to live our "best life" and ways in which to do so. We'll talk more specifically about wise practices when it comes to our relationships (friendships, boyfriends, and parental relationships), when dealing with Social Media, and especially in decision-making. We will walk through activities to better understand who God created each of us to be so that we will be more confident in living the life we were created to live. This event will equip the girls to be strong in their identity and we'll empower them to be gentle when dealing with the world around them.
Becoming Wise is not necessarily easy and won't happen overnight, but being armed with practical ways in which to become wise makes it a little more attainable on a daily basis. Join us as we take a closer look at our journey of Becoming Wise.
If you have never been to a TEEN SHE event, now's a great time to start! We have both large group sessions as well as break-out labs, worship, games, a photo booth for great picture taking, and tons of fun!. Our large group sessions include all the girls attending, while our labs are broken down by age group and are therefore smaller. We have 2 lab sessions each for Jr High (6th-8th grades), Sr High (9th-11th grades), and Seniors. These labs are similar topics to each other, however, they are geared to the needs and experiences of the different age groups and are therefore age-appropriate. All of the messages are Biblically-based and are relevant to the girls' daily lives today.
